Talbot County is located midway down the Delmarva Peninsula on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Talbot County Government serves a population of 37,000 citizens and is a member of the Maryland Broadband Cooperative to ensure that residents and businesses can continue to benefit from redundant high speed fiber that is both accessible and affordable.

The Talbot County Office of Economic Development targets the attraction of technology-based businesses with specialties in environment, information, security, aviation and defense, and offers a qualified workforce to support growth.
